This project was born from the will to stop and reverse a process of degradation and total disappearance of the Jewish presence in Mogador, the only city in the Muslim world which once had a Jewish majority.

The first step was to dispose of the more than 30 tons of debris from the crashed roof, the walls erosion, and damaged broken wood. This having unveiled the great potential of restoration of the site.
